How much space does a dwarf hamster need?

The recommended space for 1 dwarf hamster is at least (H) 11.8" x (W) 11.8" x (D) 17.7" (30cm x 30cm 45cm).

The recommended space for 2 dwarf hamsters is at least (H) 16" X (W) 16" X (D) 20" (40cm x 40cm x 50cm).

Although dwarf hamsters may be small in size, they need lots of space to run around.

Since Syrians live alone (unless there are babies with mum) the recommended amount of space a Syrian will need is at least 24" x 12", and at least 12" tall (61cm x 30.5cm x 30.5cm tall).
